A water leak in your home can be a lot more costly than most homeowners are aware of. Your incoming mains water supply is measured in meters from the water meter at the boundary of your home. This is for accountability and billing purposes. Therefore if there was a small leak on that incoming main into your home YOU will be charge appropriately for it.
